Lemon, Tuna, and Caper Pasta

  • one can of tuna
  • one tbsp of capers
  • juice from half a lemon
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic
  • 1/4 cup of onions
  • red pepper flakes to taste
  • 1 cup pasta (any really works)

    Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the pasta to the now boiling water. Mean while add a little olive oil to pan on medium and add in the onions. Stir so that they soften but do not brown.  Once onions start to soften, add in chopped up garlic and tuna. Continue to stir, and add in a little of the water from the pasta. Add in the capers and the red pepper flakes. Once the pasta is cooked, add it into the pan with the tuna mix, squeeze on the lemon juice and remove from the heat. Serve right away.
